Spamming has become a trend in most community forums, yet despite the rules being imposed, these people would just probably ignore and breach the guidelines. There might be several reasons why people SPAM, most probably because of indolence, others just for fun, elated and jubilation or simply out of sheer stupidity. Unbeknownst to them that there are people tasked of policing and monitoring these wild antics.

Herewith is “my own assessment and profiling” of spammers and their varied responses towards different threads. I also classified them according to their types of responses and even dubbed hilarious monikers for their behaviours and most probably just for the sake of semantics.

No, this is not the last time we had close encounters with their kind. They look deceiving enough to sign up in this forum in human form and yet they do not possess earthly linguistics. They only have one purpose: to steal, capture, possess and download our forum's resources and closely guarded secrets. And when they do, they simply leave these graffiti behind. Even Google translate cannot decipher and decrypt these languages! This is spamming in its most serious form

This is the most commonly used and abused type in this forum, Redundancy. One word is enough for a wise man but two more doesn’t make you wiser!!! This is no place for chants and incantations no matter how understandable they maybe. These are just sheer repetitions; it doesn’t change the state nor does it amplify the gravity of your gratitude! It is simply replying and inundating the same word all over again. If you are being delinquent of committing the same spamming offense like those above, you might be BANNED BANNED BANNED.

Let’s do the Maths:

₱100 + ₱100 + ₱100 = ₱300
But: THANKS + THANKS + THANKS = THANKS (See! It doesn’t absolutely change anything, does it!)

You probably need a psychiatric evaluation? You are obviously out of context! You are clearly *****ing practical jokes and making a thread look like it’s a circus or some sort of a freak show! This is clearly out of topic and total non-sense. We are not in the courier service nor food industry and neither in the retail sector. Respond accordingly; to the title, within the context or same topic. Please do not drag us into your bizarre carnival show or over-excitement if that is your case. There is absolutely nothing professional about affixing your pictographs and neither they are outspoken; sometimes they are misleading!

Question: If the forum is strongly against emojis, then why does the forum rely heavily on so?

Answer: Kindly read the “forcible need to like and reply” section.

Icons may only use to supplement an existing statement, to add a stronger punch and give it a more emotional appeal.

Let’s take for an example:

Ex. ( clueless???) VERSUS "Oh, do you really think I care?"

(heart?) or ( heart, heart, heart???) VERSUS "I LVE YOU"

( thumbs up) or (double fisting!?#$%) VERSUS "Keep up the good work!"

For short, in the culinary perspective, emoji is a spice only to add flavor to your protein and they do not serve as the main course and neither as an appetizer.


After all the rule of thumb to avoid a spamming related offense is “say what you mean” and “mean what you say”
