How to Earn on Gradient Network​

Earnings are based on a points system, which may be converted into tokens in the future. The primary methods to earn points include:

• Proof-of-Availability (POA): Earn 0.25 points for every 10 minutes your Sentry Node is online.
• Proof-of-Connectivity (POC): Earn points when your node successfully establishes peer-to-peer connections, known as "Taps," with other nodes.
• Referral Bonuses: Invite others to join the network using your referral c0d3 to earn additional points and a percentage of their rewards.
• Account Boosts: Complete tasks such as connecting your X (formerly Twitter) account or joining the Gradient Discord to receive bonus points.

Setting Up a Sentry Node​

To start earning, follow these steps:

1. Register an Account:
   
   • Visit gradient.network and sign up using your email or Google account.
   • Optionally, enter a referral c0d3 during registration to receive a 3,000 EXP bonus and a 2% reward boost.
     
2. Install the Sentry Node Extension:
   
   • After registration, download the Gradient Sentry Node browser extension from the Chrome Web Store.
   • Install the extension and ensure it's active; it uses less than 1MB of data per month and operates efficiently even with intermittent connectivity.
     
3. Ǻ¢ṪïṼàte and Monitor:
   
   • Keep the extension running to maintain node activity.
   • Monitor your node's status and rewards through the Gradient Dashboard.
     
4. Enhance Earnings:
   
   • Connect your X account and follow @Gradient_HQ.
   • Join the Gradient Discord for community engagement and additional tasks.
   • Refer others using your unique referral link to earn more points.
     

Important Considerations​

• No Token Yet: As of now, Gradient Network has not launched an official token or announced an airdrop. Participation and point accumulation do not guarantee future token rewards.
• Privacy and Data Usage: The Sentry Node extension is designed to be privacy-preserving and uses minimal data, making it suitable for continuous operation.
