Since August 20, 2025, its system has changed. Instead of the pay-per-GB model, it has shifted to the pay-per-time model. Therefore, your earnings are now based on the duration of your device's connection and its contribution to traffic, rather than the amount of data used.
The app is actually safe to use. You just can’t download it from the App Store. You have to download and install it manually on your device through APK installation. EarnApp is still working with Google to get this detection ironed out.
The app may get removed from your phone by Google Play Protect. To avoid this from happening, you can enable the app from the Google Play Protect settings.
What does the app do? Well, it pretty much does the same thing as the software for computers. It will share your unused mobile internet bandwidth, so if you have an unlimited data plan, you can use it to fully maximize your plan and earn a few dollars. It’s not the most ideal way to earn, in my opinion, but at least you can squeeze out a few dollars by using it.
